It focuses on people, process, and results on a continuous basis. WCM is in itself, a competitive strategy that aims for stakeholders, including customers and employees delight through focus on sustainable and superior.

 
 
Performance and other parameters. WCM helps in achieving this sustainable, superior performance by putting in place the "Art of Manufacturing for Consistent Excellence". It is diagnostic in nature as it Menables the abnormalities to show themselves.

WCM program aims at improving Nation's Competitiveness and Business Excellence through Breakthrough and Continuous Innovations supported by a Team based Management System. It strives for Zero Loss Culture coupled with highest standard of Quality and Productivity. WCM is an accepted way of managing a business to gain competitive advantage thereby ensuring long term success - meeting the needs of their customers, employees, financial and other stakeholders and community at large. MPD and the MPD Group as a whole strive on many business tools in its own flavors to solidify itself as a World Class Manufacturer. TATAL PRODUCTIVE MAINTENANCE
 
 
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is an organizational development to successfully improve plant maintenance by providing significant tangible results, and transformation of the plant's environment and people. The goals of TPM simply conclude to Zero Breakdown, Zero Accident, Zero Defect and Zero Waste. General rules to TPM implementation includes
eight pillars of activities, if strictly adhered to, can reduce the developmental stages. TPM is an ongoing initiative, and strict guidance through total employee participation is the roadmap to Zero Breakdown, Zero Accident, Zero Defect and Zero Waste.
 
     
  SIX SIGMA  
 
The goal of Six Sigma is to increase profits by eliminating variability, defects and waste that undermine customer loyalty. Six Sigma is a rigorous and a systematic methodology that utilizes information (management by facts) and statistical analysis to measure and improve a company's operational performance, practices and systems by identifying and preventing 'defects' in manufacturing and service-related processes in order to anticipate and exceed expectations of all stakeholders to accomplish effectiveness.
 
     
 
KAIZEN SUGGESTION SYSTEM
 
 
The involvement of each individual within an organization, whether it is an industrial environment at, MPD, or any organization, it is a rule of thumb to respect each individual and build a collective knowledge base from the experience of each individual. The objectives of Kaizen Suggestion System (KSS), an offspring of the TPM and WCM initiatives, are to motivate employees to have more participation according to participative management, to development employees' innovations continuously, to communicate information from employees to management, to increase worker pride when participated for developing organization, and to
improve working system and working area in better condition. The benefits that the MPD has experienced in the years of organizational development through the introduction of KSS for corporate communications include, not limited to, improved worker pride and employee morale, improved working environment and conditions, work efficiency, higher quality of work, overall cost reductions, and safety at the workplace
 
     
5S  
 
A disciplined improvement, today a way of life at, MPD. Based and developed in Japan, 5S is a process of work place organization and house-keeping which is carried out gradually and systematically.
 
     
5S IMPROVEMENT PRINCIPLES CONSISTS OF:  
  Seiri or Sort Out
Remove what is not needed and keep what is needed.
 
  Seiton or Make Convenient
Place things in such a way that they can be easily reached whenever they are needed.
 
  Seiso or Cleanliness
Keep things clean and polished; no trash or dirt in the workplace.
 
  Seiketsu or Standardization
Maintain cleanliness after cleaning - perpetual cleaning.
 
  Shitsuke or Discipline
Commitment, a typical teaching and attitude toward any undertaking to inspire pride and adherence to standards established for the four components.
 
     
  QUALITY CIRCLES  
 
Quality Control and Assurance is incorporated within the production cycle of our products. A movement or a "way of life" concept as we refer to within MPD is Quality Circle. Each and every member at the Company commits himself/herself for ensuring success of the Quality Circle Program. Quality Circle is 100% active employee participation to enhance creative thinking for making improvements to quality at the plant. The results have been enormous savings each year. The environment within The MPD is one where we believe that employees are the underlying asset and resource that will continuously be developed and provided opportunity to share ideas for improvement of their organizations.
 
     
  QUALITY OF LIFE  
 
The Quality of our people at, MPD is recognized as an important factor for continuous improvement. With this in mind, Quality of Life Clubs is in an initiative where members from the company collectively form clubs to work towards a similar goal. Some of the groups at the MPD include: Agriculture Group - involved in tree plantations within the plant, Healthy Group - involved in preparations and leading of morning exercises and sport activities, Buddhism Group - involved in Religious Functions, Sacrifice Group - involved in leading community service initiatives. The result is improved lifestyle where all members are involved in tasks that promote teamwork, social services, and self-discipline.

Responsibility is another commitment MPD endeavors to ensure. Its WCM directives already focus on building caring individuals, enhancing the organization as a whole. Among these are concentrations on environmental consciousness. Inline with our corporate values to participate in exercising environmental protection, The Company emphasizes its industrial environment to extend its duty to the nation and the world through the appropriate management of environmental issues.
